Stift Klosterneuburg Monastery was founded in 1114 and it is the oldest wine estate in Austria producing wine for just over 900 years. It is also one of the largest wine estates in Austria with 108 hectares under vines. The vineyards are located in different appellations; Klosterneuburg, Vienna, Gumpoldskirchen and Tattendorf.
It is also important to note that Stift Klosterneuburg is the first carbon neutral wine estate in Europe.

Wiener Germischter vineyards are located in the city of Vienna, which is also the appellation for this wine.
It is a blend of Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay and Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc). Bottled young, this wine is to be enjoyed during its youth.
After fermentation the wine is kept in stainless steel tank and bottled in February 2015.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Bright.
Nose: Bouquet of green apples and white flower.
Palate: It is fresh with good acidity, stone fruits paired with elegant spices.
Other: Cream cheese spreads and traditional Austrian cold-meats (Brettljausen).
