Vinification:

Albert Ponnelle produces wines using organic and biodynamic
methods.
Harvest is done by hand in the cooler hours of the morning.
Fermented over 15 days, 80% of the bunches are destemmed, 100%
barrel aging with 20% new barrels for 14 months.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep crimson.
Nose: Complex nose mixing red fruits and gamy aromas.
Palate: It is elegant with fine tannins, good length and a
smooth finish. A Gevrey-Chambertin that
associates power, elegance and subtleness, a
classic for the terroir and vintage.
Other: This Grevrey-Chambertin will pair particularly well
with a lamb tagine and prunes, grilled red meat, pork
fillet or cheese such as Maroilles or Camembert.
