Vinification:
This vineyard is located in the Mercurrey and Fontaine districts, in
the northern part of the Mercurey appelation and it has a southern
orientation.
Harvested relatively late in the season, the fruits were sorted
manually in the vineyard and in the cellar, de-stemmed then
macerated for six days before fermentation was started.
Fermented over 20 to 25 days with daily remontage and pigeage.
Aged for 18 months in French barrels, with 10% new barrels.
Tasting Notes:

| Nose: | Red berries with a hint of spice and tobacco. |
| Palate: | Juicy red fruits with Strawberry, raspberry and cherry, silky and well integrated tannins, great minerality, typical for Mercurey. |
| Other: | Will pair well with rich meaty dishes such as beef rib steak or lamb knuckles braised or cooked in a sauce. |
