Tasting Notes:

Color: Dark ruby with hint of blue and purple on the border.
Nose: Black fruit on the nose with hints of menthol and banana with some earthy notes at the finish.
Palate: Fresh fruit flavors and chocolate followed by a growing reminder of licorice and tannin which illustrates the use of carbonic maceration.
Other: This is an interesting light red wine with refreshing fruity flavors, good on its own or with light summer dishes as well as grilled red meat.
