Vineyard: A selection from several vineyards.
Soil Type: Mostly calacreous & chalky.
Vine Age: Average 20 years old.
Irrigation: No irrigation
Harvest Date: Late summer 2010 (Grenache) & first days in October ( Carignan).
Yield: 6.5 t/ha


Made using traditional fermentation with indigenous yeast. The must is left for 10 hours on the skins, pressed and fermented at low temperature between 14 & 16º Centigrade. Les Sorts Rosat is a blend of 90% Grenache and 10% Carignan.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Dark pretty pink.
Nose: Ripe fruity aromas with some raspberry and cherry. The floral and mineral notes in the background add complexity.
Palate: It is dry, balanced and fresh with a good acidity. Bold and fruity with good tannins and freshness.
Other: This is a versatile wine that may be enjoyed on its own or with any summery dishes.
