Castillo de Monesma
Bodegas Delcamp was founded in 1994. It is situated in the privileged area of Monesma de San Juan, south of Somontano (Huesca), with a terroir unique to this region.
This family farm covers 125 hectares, of which 27 hectares are planted with vines, the farm also produces a number of other products including cherries.
The vineyards are north-south facing giving the vines an optimum sun exposure.
The climate is ideal to grow healthy vines, and as a result, there is very little need to use pesticides. Yields are also controlled to keep the production relatively small and focus on quality as opposed to quantity. Yields are between 7.5 and 8 tons per hectare.
Castillo de Monesma wines are matured in French and American oak barrels, pursuing a balance between the fruit and wood.
Bodegas Delcamp mainly produces wines made from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
